Fix values, rename columns, add or remove rows. The LaTeX output updates instantly.
3. Copy or download
Choose environment, alignment and booktabs style, then copy the output or download as a <code>.tex</code> file.

Frequently asked questions
Which LaTeX environments are supported?
tabular (standard, fits on one page) and longtable (for tables that span multiple pages). Select your preferred environment from the dropdown in the output panel.
What is the booktabs option?
booktabs replaces horizontal lines with \toprule, \midrule and \bottomrule from the booktabs package, producing publication-quality tables. Remember to add \usepackage{booktabs} to your preamble.
Are special LaTeX characters escaped?
Yes, by default. Characters like &, %, $, #, _, {, }, ~, and ^ are escaped to their LaTeX equivalents. You can disable this if your cells contain LaTeX commands.
Is my file private?
Yes. Everything runs in your browser. Your CSV or Excel file is read and processed on your device. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is logged.
Is there a file-size limit?
There is no server-side limit because nothing is uploaded. Very large files may take a moment depending on your computer.
Can I embed this converter in my own app?
Yes. The engine that powers this page is the TabularJS JavaScript library. You can embed it in React, Vue, Angular or plain JavaScript.
